Okay so this was one of the best times we have ever had as professional photographers and the results, well in single word,  amazing!

Hannah and her sisters met up with us at our studio here in Frisco, TX where we had our white seamless setup all ready to go for her planned “light” session.  The concept was to shoot for complete subject isolation against a stark white background.  We really wanted to do something special to kick off the 2011 high school senior year, and we thought this was just the trick.  We haven’t see a lot of other photographers trying this, so once again, something completely new, and wow, it worked out so well!

I love how Hannah just appears to be suspended in space for these.  We took so many photographs, we had to, I think Hannah brought most of her wardrobe! :) We really loved the traditional Indian dresses she brought, the variety made the session special, and sharing it with her hilarious sisters made it all the more fun as well.

Together with her “dark” senior session this makes a perfect set of senior portraits, and the product possibilities are endless. We will be able to create some wonderful books, accordion books, gallery wraps, and fine art prints from nearly every one of these.  Really exciting!  We have a few new products in the works, but we haven’t officially announced them yet, so stay tuned to find out all about our new and exciting product line-up.

Hannah is a senior at Sunnyvale High School, and she is all set to graduate in 2011.

Thanks again ladies for making the trek all the way up to Frisco, Texas for this incredibly fun high school senior portrait session.  I hope you had as much fun as we did, or at least got some good studying in!  :)  Seriously, having your friends or family around like that really does help the “keep it real” factor.  It makes a big difference to the outcome, so thanks again!

Well it’s that time of year again.  School has started back up and the 2011 high school senior class looks to be a great one. 

For this round of senior pictures we met up with the exquisite high school senior Hannah from Sunnyvale High School.  We met downtown for a terrific urban evening shoot.  We stayed around The West End for the most part, and shot well into the night.  Downtown Dallas makes for a wonderful backdrop, don’t you think?  We love on-location urban photography, it is simply the best way to beat the August heat and still get great Urban backgrounds! 

We planned a two part session with Hannah, one “dark” and one “light”.  These photographs are from the first (dark) session.  We plan on shooting the “light” session next week, so look for those photographs to be posted shortly.

Hannah was a joy to photograph, she’s a natural beauty, and I love that smile!  The colors are so vivid when put against the dark backdrop of Dallas, TX.  I loved her wardrobe choices, the traditional Indian dresses are just awesome!

Thanks for being such a great senior model Hannah, we had a blast!

We met up with Logan at The Shops at Legacy for his senior session on Tuesday.  We love on-location photography, and this is such a great location!  We didn’t have to fight any “traffic” this time either, well except for the shot with the Mustang where we had to pull it into the middle of the road, that was fun, but you have to do what you have to do when it comes to getting THE shot, right!?!?

We had a great time with Logan.  I really like the one with him texting, and of course the “James Dean” one too.

We met up with Sarah and family at The Shops at Legacy in Plano for some senior portraits.  Sarah is a beautiful Plano West High School senior and her family is about to move up to Frisco, right down the street from us in fact.  We had a great time walking around the park, and shooting up in the parking garage as the sunset. We had to maneuver around several other senior photographers and even a wedding photographer during her shoot, but it worked out nicely.  Her senior session was awesome, one of the best, we really enjoyed Sarah, her BFF and her mom was a big help too.  The images are beautiful!  Thanks guys, we had a great time.

Introducing one of the most beautiful seniors we have ever had the pleasure of meeting, Molly.  Stacia and I met with Molly and her mom in downtown McKinney and wandered the streets until the sun went down.  We had an amazing time while capturing her senior photographs and we enjoyed perfect weather in the process (no rain!).  She was an absolute dream for a senior photographer to photograph, just gorgeous! 

We met up with Cesaley just outside of McKinney at Towne Lake Park, with camera equipment in one hand, and umbrellas in the other.  Stacia kept asking to see my iPhone so she could check the weather radar and sure enough, a storm was headed straight for us!  We stayed back in the forest, to keep as much of the weather off of us as we could, but for the most part it missed us.

Cesaley was great fun and a riot to shoot!  The images turned out awesome!  Have fun at college next year, C!

Hannah will be graduating from Temple Christian Academy in may 2010, and is about to leave on her mission trip to Africa.  She had just received all of the shots necessary to prepare her for the trip when we met up with her, but you can’t tell that from her perfect smile!  We took half of the shots in the park near The Shops at Legacy in Plano, TX and the other half in old downtown Lewisville, Texas.  My favorite spot that day was a little garage parking lot with a bunch of tires, rusty wheels and car parts laying around.  We had a great time, and except for the wind, it was a perfect day for shooting!

Thanks Hannah for being one of the best seniors we have ever photographed, you were a ton of fun to hang out with!  Good luck on your mission trip, be sure to take lots of pictures!

It was hard to get Catie to light up, at first.  Then I figured out what to talk about with her, her car, she loves that little red hot rod.  I noticed the back tires were a little low on tread, I wonder why that is…  :)  Catie’s senior shoot was a lot of fun, she had a great time being photographed, and it was fun to be outside of Frisco and Dallas for that matter for this one.

We had a great time with Catie, and the photographs are awesome.  You rule chica.

Stacia and I flew up to Kansas for this one, well, really for several shoots.  Nothing like working on your birthday…

Happy Birthday Stacia!!!

Stephanie was a natural, tons of fun, and willing to try all of the poses we could throw at her.  She forgot her bow, and no I don’t mean hair-bow, I mean bow, as in, bow and arrow… next time I guess.  Thanks for being such a trooper Stephanie, I hope you had as much fun as we did making these!  You Rock!
